What Members Thought
This is certainly the best analysis of Kafka's entire oeuvre, unfortunately only available in German. There are, however, numerous articles by Sokel in English and all of them display Sokel's immense erudition and insight. Most "modern" "scholars" have a very difficult time accepting Kafka's religious side, Sokel doesn't shy away from seeing the Romantic side though, of course, it is the more hidden one.
