Ωδή στον πατέρα κακοποιό και την συναισθηματική διέξοδο μιας κατεστραμμένης για πάντα ψυχής,
μιας γλυκιάς και φοβικής ύπαρξης που καίγεται και σιγολιώνει απο έλλειψη προσεγμένης με πνευματική εγγύτητα αγάπης,
μέσω ενός γράμματος, μιας ανεπίδοτης επιστολής
στον Αγαπητό Πατέρα του.

Είναι αυτοβιογραφικό έργο, καθώς ανήκει στις επιλογές από τα ημερολόγια και τις επιστολές του Κάφκα που καλύπτουν τα γεγονότα που αναφέρονται στον Αγαπητό Πατέρα.

Shelves: autobiography-biographies, german-lit

Blood-rimmed, honest, desperate, courageous: this is highly explorative of Kafka. A very interesting thing that struck me near the end was:

"And there is the combat of vermin, which not only sting but, on top of it, suck your blood in order to sustain their own life.

... and parasitism. If I am not very much mistaken, you are preying on me even with this letter itself."

This is really suggestive of a very interesting interpretation of The Metamorphosis. I think we can all take something from this ...more
