A few great stories and a few pretentious and boring ones. When it's good it's great (particularly 'Before the Law', 'Jackals and Arabs, A Message from the Emporor', 'A Brother's Murder', and 'A Report to the Academy'). I rate it a 3.8, probably due to my lack of understanding of about half of the metaphors.
