An exhilaratingly violent and unpredictable sci-fi thriller from Suzanne Berget, a Norwegian journalist, video games reviewer and comic book aficionado. Her debut novel is the first book in the “The Monstermorphosis series. The story is based in a futuristic city called East Resplendent a city where rage, pain, distrust and misery form and fester in the underground thanks to a big bad company called VyroGen.

Here’s what’s what:

For you VyroGen is a cancer research company, and they do resear

Spoiler below

I'm not sure how to describe this book other than vibes. I liked the vibe, despite the confusion as to what the hell was actually going on.

Main character Kalli was a very difficult woman to understand and like, but the story was interesting enough to keep my attention. Still not sure what drives her, tbh, and not sure I will ever know. She loves her sister, but after Kalli is kidnapped, she mostly just forgets about her family. Goes back there once when she runs away, but that's it.

4/5 ⭐️

I wrote this book so naturally I'm a little biased! But I really do love it, and to me it truly is a 5-star read, but I don't expect everyone to feel the same (although that would've been awesome ngl).

If you're reading this, then hello and welcome! Before you join Kallie in her trials and tribulations I have some stuff to tell you:

1. For some reason (clerical error or something idk) the book's reading age is listed as 16-18. Don't let this fool you! This is a book for adults!

So if you're looking
