This book made me so glad to be Catholic.
First off, not all Christian denominations are the same. Secondly, the Author definitely only knows about 1 denomination and most likely has no Bible reading experience other than mainstream.
I don't want that to affect my whole review, overall, I think this book was quiet fun.
my low review mostly stems on the fact that Riley is SO annoying. Like, she is the MOST intolerant character in the whole book, and the pastor is literally homophobic 💀.

4.5⭐️ I realllly enjoyed this one. I need Caitlin Kinnunen to narrators every novel please.
The first red flag came when I saw how short it was.
Disregarding my blatant innuendo, this book was a great concept but 300 pages is not enough room to tackle all of it.
First of all, committing the 7 sins during church camp is hilarious, but it came across as something that was trying to be lighthearted whilst the author was trying to tackle a more serious topic of religious trauma and guilt. Meshing together the two just didn’t work.

It was really good, it was better than I expected it to be. I really wish there was a sequel though.
