So this book was an EXTREME let down for me. From the execution of the story to the climax.. If one can even call it that.. I would give this one a solid 2.5 stars. This is ONLY because the one thing I was in-like with here, is Marco. But even he could not salvage this tale for me.

I'll admit, I was expecting quite a bit from this final book in the Black Resorts series. I'm sad to say, it did not deliver in the way I had hoped. The beginning Prologue and first couple of chapters held promise and made me think the FMC would be a worthy character. As I got further into the book, she changed directions, and not in a good way. It was confusing to me.
Then there were the MMC's. Marco turned out to be my favorite, but I still never felt I got to REALLY KNOW him in any real depth. ...more

This was a disappointment. The plot just wasn't there, the chemistry between the main characters wasn't there. There were a few added side plots, I guess you'd call them, that were unnecessary and really didn't add to the book at all. I've read several books by this author and enjoyed them, this was not one of them. ...more
