On booktube I hear many people say they don't like this series, but I really liked this book.

The book wasn't entirely centered around romance which made a nice start to the series. I loved that Patch made romantic banters and the cute grins that he kept for Nora. I also like the cockiness of Patch.

I was surprised because I did not expect that person to be who it was so that was a nice surprise because I can usually guess who the bad guy is and all that (which I don't mind; I like guessing).

This book was overall a pretty decent book. The only qualms I have with this is the whole bad boy treats girl like shit and she secretly loves it trope that perpetuates the mistreatment of women because "the secretly find it attractive". I liked how this girl threw it right back at him but still...The dialogue was kinda weird and the wording of stuff was awkward but you get used to it I guess? In the end over all I enjoyed the book but was able to put it down and not pick it back up for several ...more

This is just one of those guilty pleasures I have, it was just as good as the first time if not better because of all the fun comments in the beginning that actually made sense now that I knew what was going to happen later. I'm totally going to reread the rest of the series now as well! ...more
