I keep rolling this around in my head, a few weeks after I finished it. Gay's concept of what it means to be a "bad feminist" is a powerful, interesting, and nuanced look at the term. She talks about the intersections of race, class, sexuality, culture, and gender, and how these things have affected her life and are shown in pop culture.
