What Members Thought

This book got a little too meta for me, with one of the narrators being a writer named Ruth and the completely bizarre sequence of events that happens near the end. Up until then, I was finding this to be a difficult, but rewarding, read. There's a lot of heavy stuff in here (suicide, bullying), so I was finding it difficult to pick up, but Nao's story was fascinating and well told and every time I did read it, I got sucked in. And then it just got weird, in a way that didn't work for me.
