I couldn't read this book without comparing it to Harry Potter - there were so many parallels. This one was somewhat lacking in description, and sometimes that made it feel more like I was listening to a story being told than actually being drawn into it. But in a way, that was part of the beauty of this book. What it lacked in descriptive depth, it made up for in cultural depth.
