There was a lot of hype surrounding this book and so I was a bit scared when I picked it up in fear of disliking it. I was wrong. I throughly enjoyed this book. The plot twist was just wow. I heard that there was an incredible plot twist, and throughout the story I was thinking about what that might be, but I didn't even get CLOSE to how this played out. Now definitely one of my favorites, and I so cannot wait for the next book! ...more

An awesome high fantasy read with a lot of romance and DECEPTION! Yes, I saw the plot twist coming, but it didn't make me love it any less--it was overall an epic journey for these characters and I cannot wait for the sequel!

Since there was a lot of hype surrounding this book, I had such high expectations. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed by it... I really enjoyed the world and the characters. I also appreciated the different points of views. However, it simply fell a little short for me. I still very much enjoyed it, but I wanted to enjoy it a little more.
