This book was a tough one to get through but written very eloquently. It's a reimagining of the underground railroad as an actual, physical railroad system which is a creative and interesting idea that, in this case, worked pretty well. Told through the main character, Cora, who I think is used as a representation of various slaves and their stories of escape attempts and experience on the plantation. By no means, all of them.
