Honestly? I do not know why it took me this long to read this book! I wish I could kick myself for not making time in my life for this book! But I've read Hoover before and her books are beautifully written with words that captivate from page one. So I knew I needed time that I could dedicate. Damn, it sould be illegal to write such a wonderful and emotional novel. ;)
Colleen Hoover knows how to put emotions into every words she uses and in Hopeless she outdone herself. I'm not prone to tears but I barely contained them many times while discovering more and more about Sky Holder and even Les.

After reading 6 of her books, I am now her fan! There is an underlying tone in her stories that can make it similar but somehow different. She writes these characters that are incredibly interesting and she tells a story that may sound "cliche" but then she puts a twist you cannot get over with...something that will linger... You could kind of tell from the beginning that there was something that Dean wasn't telling her so I wasn't surprised at all that he knew her as a kid. I didn't expect all that with Les though. (view spoiler)
