What Members Thought
Tarkin is not the most interesting character in the Star Wars Universe. There are some mildly interesting points made and a bit more background on liquidation of the old republic senate, but there are much better SW books out there. Luceno himself has written a bunch of other fantastic books.
What a slog. A few interesting bits of backstory, but oh man, Tarkin's personal history is dull as dishwater, and the main plot is about a short story's worth of content.
