The book opens with the quote:
"No man chooses evil because it is evil. He only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks." - Mary Wollstonecraft.
And that is the premise of the book, which I loved.
I loved that the villain, Sebastian, was so entirely human that I began to feel deeply sorry for him.
