I was very excited to read a Elm Creek Quilters book that wasn't about Sylvia. Well, for the most part, anyway. It was more a cook book than anything else. I had really hoped that it would delve into Anna's life more than two days of cleaning out the kitchen at Elm Creek manor.

This short book tells the story of new Elm Creek Quilter's chef Anna and Sylvia preparing for the new kitchen remodel. As they clean out the cupboards of the old kitchen, Sylvia relates stories from Elm Creek's past. A quick read, as the chapters were filled with recipes. Optional reading for fans of the series.

Introducing a new member to the Quilters group, Anne the new chef at Elm Creek Lodge . This was an ok book, not Chiaverini's best, but an easy quick read. I did find an excellent recipe "Fall Roasted Vegetables" amoung the inclusions.
