This made me laugh and cry and all the things!! Amazing...wow...

Emma Grant, Justin
Loved the opening of this and how Emma and Justin end up meeting. From that I thought were about to get a cute, lighthearted read. Boy was I wrong.
Justin and Emma have some family issues going on. After the death of his father, Justin's mother spiraled and committed a crime and has been sentenced to 6 years in prison. He is becoming the guardian of his younger siblings.
Emma was semi raised by Amber, who if you met her in book 1 in this series, you already know she's trash. Sh ...more

This was just catnip for my soul and has definitely got me hooked onto Jimenez. Good thing I have the rest of her books on my shelf!

This book made me so homesick for summer in Minnesota. I loved our MMC (the surveys! the invites! swooooon) and the FMC was compelling. I love Abby Jimenez's books in general, but this one is by far my favorite.
