So probably 3* but gets a +1 for being a classic. For me, it is a challenge when you have a book and a story that has been "modified" so many times through the 100+ years. Movies and other stories make the story convoluted and then when I go to the original it leaves me with so many false or negative impressions. Mary Shelley's "The Modern Prometheus" aka Frankenstein ring any bells?
