What Members Thought
I really loved Fen, but this was tedious, frustrating and muddled. Disappointing.
I am a fan of straight-forward storytelling. I want to be completely engrossed into the story and I want to believe the characters are real people. I don't want to have a clue about where the story is going. So on that front this book did not resonate with me. It may be brilliant, I don’t know, but I did not enjoy the reading of it.

I had to listen to this twice. Split narratives and chronology is too hard for my tired brain at the moment when listening, so this is probably a harsh rating. I loved the wordplay and masterful language and thought it a great nod to Oedipus.
I couldn’t follow this book, I didn’t care about the characters and I found myself avoiding the book.
