We remember specific days for particular reasons. Some come every year, others are once in a lifetime treasures. Time is kind to us, softening the edges of those hurtful days and enhancing those days filled with joy.

I'm not a fan of the plots where people/bulldozers are tricked into feeling bad, even if they end up happy at the end. Extra star for the appeal to truck-loving kids.

Good for children that enjoy stories set in construction sites with large trucks, this is the story of a bulldozer that believes that everyone has forgotten his birthday, until quitting time when it is revealed that they were planning a big surprise for him. This story contains a lot of onomatopoeia, so it would be good if you were teaching that. A fun, simple book.
