What Members Thought

I am really fluctuating between a 4 and a 5 for this book.
This is a lovely book about nature and what is waiting for us outside. It tells how outside comes to us in many ways and how we need what is outside. The illustrations, while not a style I would normally find appealing, are compelling and command the reader to really see them and follow their pathway. In this manner they reflect the story itself.

This is absolutely gorgeous in its illustrations, so it's worth checking out for those alone. The message is not that of a lecture, but a plea to "come outside!"
