Thank you to Bloomsbury for the digital F&G via Edelweiss during #BloomsburySpotlight. Wolfboy was hungry and is looking for rabbits, so he sloshed, climbed, swam, slogged, leaped, yowled and growled. The rabbits appear, with moonberry pie, and hangry Wolfboy is hungry no longer. Look for the rabbits in each picture, which features sculpted clay!

Wolfboy is so hungry! He must find the rabbits! The sculptured clay illustrations with the rabbits hiding on every page and carefully crafted text work beautifully together to build the tension towards the satisfying conclusion. This will be a fun book to share with readers chanting: "Rabbits, rabbits! Where are you?"

Fun story with excellent read-a-loud repeats. The illustrations are cute, bright and bold. I enjoy how the illustrator allowed them to look like what they are (clay) rather than perfecting them to the point that you couldn't see how they were made.

Even a sweet little boy can become Wolfboy when he's hangry!

I think preschool and toddlers will love the illustrations and even kinder's may like the humor and the search and find aspect of the illustrations.

I thought the story was cute, with a little of a twist at the end; but I loved the clay sculpture illustrations.
