So, this book took me forever to read and I had to stop a couple times to read other things for book club, etc. And it's mostly because it took me so long to read that I am now TEN books behind on my reading challenge for the year ... but I'm cool, I told myself that I wouldn't let the challenge be an excuse to not tackle longer or meatier works, so ...

I dove into this book with full force for about 300 pages, and then got bogged down by lengthy hyperbolic metaphors and had to take a break. Overall, I think it does a great job of using story and lost collective wisdom to attempt to reconnect modern women with their instinctual selves. I recommend this book to every woman who seeks understanding of and relationship with their true nature.
