Been a long time since I have read a Laurenston shifter book and it will probably be a while until I read the next. Mostly it's just that the violent episodes that the lady honey badger shifters end up involved in are over the top and occur several times per book and are just a bit too much for me at this point. These ladies leave past leading ladies - who were the baddest of the bad in their books - licking their wounds. It was interesting to me that I did remember the dozen plus former charact ...more

I loved this book. It was fast paced and action packed. I couldn鈥檛 put this book down.
This was the first book by this author, that I read. Now I have to read her other series. A light hearted, fun read.
Highly recommend!

I started with the audio on this one, and while I generally like Traci Odom she just seem to flat for the narration after hearing Charlotte Kane narrate the pride series....anyway another great read from Shelly Laurenston and it was great to have new characters and get to visit with some old characters (Cooper, Vic, Livvy) can't wait for the next one ...more
