What Members Thought

The 1985 comedy novel by Thomas Bernhard is a monologue. One long drawn out paragraph of sentences with multiple use of commas. It is an interesting story but the style makes it work to read. The story is about Reger as told by his Artzbacher who is mostly directly quoting Reger. Reger is an old man, he is a musicologist. Artzbacher is a philosopher.
