Handsome wandering prince disguised as a minstrel rescues ridiculously lovely princess from the evil clutches of cold-hearted duke by fulfilling an “impossible� quest. Thurber’s take on the classic fairy tale plot features gorgeous language, mysterious unseen beasts, and of course quirkily endearing characters.

A cute and quirky little fairy tale that apparently was Neil Gaiman's favourite book as a child.
