This is one of those books that's like watching a car crash in slow motion - who can look away? especially if there's no blood. Even better if it's fiction.
Elisabeth and Paul are intensely close siblings who are without parental care and feed emotionally on each other, not necessarily in a positive way. They draw others into their orbit but those others are not allowed to come too close. They play a game that can have no winners.
