I SSSOOO loved this movie, but the book was seriously WAY better!! I read this book so fast for me. I just had to keep reading, the writing is phenomenal! The story is just so captivating. The characters are rich and inviting. Her writing made me feel like I was there watching, like a fly on the wall observing everything. One of the best books I have read in a long time. I would recommended this book to anyone and everyone!

I really liked everything about the story with one exception. The characters were very well designed. And the drama and suspense made it all real, which I think it was somehow.
The only item I didn't like and it became afterwards the core of the story, was the pie issue. It demonstrated a lack of respect for food. If food is provided to us by God it should not be disrespected nor treated in vain.
I hope the author doesn't provide any more disgusting ideas in her next books. ...more

Easy story to get wrapped up in. Started Saturday evening, finished the next night! A lot of life lessons in this book; courage, dreams, instincts, etc etc etc. I enjoyed it!
