One of the best parts of these books is that my daughter repeats the new words and it's really helping her language to develop. I especially enjoyed this installment. Very educational. ...more

I received this book from the author/publisher for the purpose of this review. All comments and opinions are entirely my own.

I have very quickly become a fan of this author because of her heart to teach young children. If You Were Me and Lived in...China is a really cute book that even I enjoyed reading. There are a few sentences that young children can learn to say in Chinese and some really cool things to learn about the Chinese culture. The pictures are simple but yet they are easy to identi

I have loved this series from this author since her first book, "If You Were Me and Lived In...Mexico.
Each one seems to get better and better. This book is of an exception. It is by far one of the best I have seen in the series.

The words this time are very difficult to pronounce but she has not only the glossary in the back but the pronunciation right in the text. Her winning format is consistent as with the other books where kids learn about how to say Mom and Dad and learn about what to call s

Here is another wonderful book by Carole P Roman.

This one is about how kids live in China. Here, you can learn where they live, how they live, their customs, schools, clothing, and their history. It shows what kind of land China is from the seacoast to the deserts within. It even teaches you some of their language, which is a real boon. There are many Chinese that live here in the states and they would love to hear others speak their language.

This would be a wonderful addition to homes with youn
