My goodness. I was supposed to do 3 reviews yesterday and 3 more today. But I had some not-good health news yesterday (nothing too serious; I have glaucoma and I had a not-good visual field) which sent me into a teeny bit of a tizzy. And then today to recover from my tizzy I cleaned the basement and my son's toyroom. But I'm back!! Let's see if I can write 6 reviews before my son finishes brushing his teeth. (He's a dawdler.)

What I learned from this book: Stephen Colbert is always right (not like we didn't already know that).
Fans of Stephen Colbert, you're already reading this or planning on it. People who haven't joined the Colbert Nation, watch a few episodes of The Colbert Report then read this book. if you like stephen colbert, you're definitely going to like this book. if you don't like him, then, eh, you'll probably still laugh at it. it wasn't as funny as i thought it would be, but there are some really great parts. i personally don't watch the colbert report, but i knew that his persona was a staunch republican with high morals. his notes in this book are so ridiculous (in a good way) that you wonder how many americans actually feel that way (as opposed to the fact that he is completely
