Had this book not been written by Libba Bray, I may not have picked it up. But holy cow (sorry... had to...) it's fantastic! Bray writes heros as well as she writes heroines and Cameron's journey (which may or may not be a figment of his imagination) is an awesome ride. My personal favorite part of the book is his visit to CESSNAB (Church of Everlasting Satisfaction and Snack 'n' Bowl), but I love the whole thing. Libba Bray is a genius and I will read absolutely anything she writes.

A glorious madman's ride of heartbreaking intensity. Beautifully funny, but also incredibly sad. A wonderful book that absolutely deserved its award. Yes, a little long, but it's all absolutely necessary. I suggest brushing up on your Norse myth and Wagner plotlines before reading.

Very good! The language was a little much. The "f-word" bothers me in excess.
