I was excited to read this book as it was the start of something new from this author. After reading the short, Sideswiped, it made me even more excited. I liked the concept of drafting, but can see where that ability could be used in the wrong way. It would take a strong person to stay on the right side of things.

A total departure from The Hollows but Harrison's clear, concise writing continues with this book, the first in a new series. I found the first 1/3 rather hard to follow and become immersed in (the opposite of The Hollows series for me) but the characters were well-written and engaging and the final 1/3 was a thrill-ride. Pacing dragged a bit. I was left wanting pretty badly to read the next book but I gotta say, I still miss Rachel! ...more
