I just completed my third reread of this, over the past several months. It took me a while because I read it at night on my Kindle. I love all these books. I was going to say this one stands out. It does because they all do. Kadan is still crazy after all these years. I think his craziness strikes me so strongly because he seems so self-controlled and the voice of reason in the other books. But then he's the main character and I realized how damaged he was and what motivates him.

This was a good entry into the Ghostwalkers series. The hero was great, he was a quite a tough guy who was blindsided by his intense and immediate feelings for the heroine. There was a LOT of sex in this one, not that I mind but CF was bringing out all of her normal catch phrases (I was thinking about starting a drinking game while reading it: everytime she wrote velvet over steel, clenching heat, lightening, molten lava or any other Feehanisms then I should take a drink! - but I would have been ...more

More like a 4.5. I have to say that while I was rading I had to keep glancing at the author to make sure I wasn't reading Lora Leigh. This book had some pretty similar elements to a LL book. Good book though. ...more

Another page-turning saga about the Ghostwalkers [and the ladies they love:]. Kadan and Tansy make great a hero/heroine/couple. Many characters from previous Ghostwalker books appear in supporting roles. Dr. Whitney is still slime, but not the only slimy character in existence. If violence and bloody justice offends, stay away. Good, action-oriented read.

The GhostWalkers are a team of specially trained men who have been altered psychically and genetically by Dr Wh Kaden Montague has been asked to find out which two GhostWalker teams are playing a dangerous Murder Game and to do so he needs elite serial tracker Tansy Meadows help to prove his men are innocent and find the ones who are guilty. But when Kaden meets Tansy he鈥檚 in for a shock because she鈥檚 a GhostWalker too and he鈥檚 been chemically matched to her. Now its more than just a Murder Game.

The GhostWalkers are a team of specially trained men who have been altered psychically and genetically by Dr Whitney to become better soldiers for there country. Only Dr Whitney isn鈥檛 all what he seems. He first experimented psychically on a group of orphaned children he collected and then sent them out into the world without the protective barriers in there brains they needed to help them live in the real world. Whitney also chemically paired the men with the girls so they could create the ultimate solider.

Tansy is one of those orphaned children she doesn鈥檛 remember much of her early childhood she knows she鈥檚 different and can鈥檛 touch objects of violence because they have a taint on them and she can feel there emotions. She鈥檚 been tracking serial killers since she was 13 years old and if she continues her brain will fragment and she鈥檒l go mad with the voices in her head. But Kaden needs her help and will do anything to get her to agree until he realises what Tansy suffers. But by then its too late and Tansy is hooked to the case and can鈥檛 rest until the murderers are caught.

First I鈥檇 like to apologise for taking so long to read this book, although it鈥檚 my fourth reading of this book I still couldn鈥檛 rush through it and although I鈥檇 like that to be my excuse for taking so long to write this review I can鈥檛. I鈥檝e been really ill for the past week and had to read this in three days which is now my longest record to read a book in. Normally I can do it in one sitting so it鈥檚 been really strange of me to pick this up and put it down again several times.

I first read Murder Game back in January 2009 and I enjoyed this book so much I鈥檝e read it 3 more times since. Kaden is first mentioned in the very first book Shadow Game and he pops in and out through the series and I couldn鈥檛 wait to get this book!

This is my favourite book, actually its toss up between this and Conspiracy Game which is book #4. Murder Game is amazingly well written and I found the storyline really gripping and never tired of reading it. Tansy is my favourite heroine, possibly ever! She鈥檚 strong and doesn鈥檛 bend to Kaden unless it really matters to him. She鈥檒l stand up to him and fight for what she wants when it really matters to her. She still fights even when she feels like she鈥檚 losing her sanity to all the murderers voices in her head but Kaden would give his life to protect her, she thaws the ice in his veins and turns him to fire.

The only thing I didn鈥檛 like about Murder Game was the beginning of the story and the way Kaden tries to manipulate Tansy into leaving with him, when she鈥檚 refused and told him she can鈥檛 do what he wants her to. It鈥檚 the way Kaden doesn鈥檛 know what to do about his mixed feelings and seems to use them against Tansy. I would include a quote but its a really long one and this review is already really long so I鈥檒l leave it and just say that it鈥檚 a great, fabulous read! Read it!
