Why haven't I read this series before?? I have read all of her other books, but this is the first time I actually picked up a Breeds book.
I thought this was the first in the series, but according to her website this is really the 7th. The first 6 were done under a different publisher (ellora's cave?). But you can still start here without losing too much.

I only gave 4 stars because it seems she wound the book up at the last chapter and a half. Everything was happening all at once. That being said, I did enjoy Braden and Megan's story. I am impressed with the new publisher since the books she had with Ellora's Cave had so many typos and words left out all together. Apparently that's a pet peeve of mine that I didn't know I had. I love the storyline to this series.
