 Danielle The Book Huntress
Yet another favorite for me in this series. I found Olivia and Aeron to be a great couple. I loved how Aeron just couldn't resist her, and how Olivia was so drawn to Aeron, that she was willing to 'fall' for him, instead of killing him as she had been ordered to do.

As this series progresses, I am seeing more investment in developing the heroines. I liked Olivia's steadfast ability to love. Her determination to enjoy her time with Aeron, and for him to be happy. Even though Legion was a real pain

Good read although not my favorite of the series. Possibly because the ending dangles - the hero and heroine get their HEA but with immense changes to their situations, and that's where it dangles. How will their new situation effect the Lords and the long term story arc? Hopefully Darkest Lie will address this situation...

Read in order.

Lords of the Underworld
1. The Darkest Fire (2008)
2. The Darkest Night (2008)
3. The Darkest Kiss (2008)
4. The Darkest Pleasure (2008)
5. The Darkest Whisper (2009

This wasn't my favorite in the series. I've never been a fan of Aeron to begin with and Legion - *gag reflex - enough said. I suppose my biggest gripe was that sooo much was happening - with the different love interests springing up and new Demons being introduced - and it all seemed a bit "over the top" for me. Olivia just wasn't a heroine I could like - instead of coming across as innocent and pure, to me she came across as immature and spoiled.

On a good note, Paris was mentioned and William

Aeron, keeper of the Demon Wrath, has sensed an invisible female presence following him. An angel, demon-assassin, has been sent to kill him. Olivia claims she fell from the heavens, giving up immortality because she couldn't bear to harm him. But trusting, and falling for Olivia will endanger them all. So how has this 'mortal' with the huge blue eyes already unleashed Aeron's darkest passion? Now, with an enemy hot on his trail and his faithful demon companion determined to remove Olivia from h ...more

These books are so silly. At least this one had a bit more "world" story, but even that is silly.
Still enjoyable in the extreme fluffy sort of way. =)
