What Members Thought

I absolutely loved this book! Why? First, it's a sports romance (my favorite). Second, the snappy writing. Funny, super sexy, with plenty of sharp, witty dialogue and plenty of sparring between the H/h, superstar hockey goalie Luc Martineau and the reporter assigned to cover his team, "natural" girl Jane Alcott. Fantastic sexual tension in this one. And third (and most important), the characters. Unlike the first book in this series (Simply Irresistible) I had no issues with the hero and heroine

[ UPDATE (October 2019): 4 stars ]
Absolutely wonderful! Bad-boy hockey player falls for "plain Jane" journalist (4.5 stars)
When I first read See Jane Score, I thought it was absolutely amazing and would have given it way more than five stars if I could have. I first read it from the library and immediately got it online afterwards, since I knew this would be a (multiple) future reread for me. I have already reread it once so far and although the second time, my rating went down to 4.5 stars, it ...more

I have to say that I didn't like the Title of this book and waited to read it because of that. But I was badly influenced and I regret not reading it sooner. I loved every minute of this one and found myself completely absorbed in the story and characters. While working I thought about what was happening in the book and stayed up at night to read when I needed the rest to go to work the next day.

Cute, light read with a nice amount of steam. What took me so long to read a Rachel Gibson book?!

I think I may have only read this book once before. It was really good! I love Luc and Jane. It's funny how every romance writer will have a character in one of their books named Nicolas and a heroine named Jane in one of their books. It must be required! This book made me sigh at the end, it had the greatest end line:
"...His lips were warm and welcoming and she slid into the kiss with the abandon of a true nympho. Because sometimes in life Ken didn't always choose Barbie. For that, he had to be ...more

The sexual tension between the two characters is what makes this book a must read. See Jane score proves that opposites do attract and ken doesn’t always choose Barbie. My first Rachel Gibson book and will not be the last. Of course the fact that I love hockey (go LV Wranglers) helped this book to be honored in my “all-time-fave list.
And yes.. “you big dumb dodo has become one of my favorite phrases. :)
(if i could, i would give it 4 1/2 stars)

Just a fun, sexy, light read. Its got the bad boy athlete, Luc Martineau who hates reporters and "Plain" Jane Alcott, reporter. I liked it but I wasn't in love with it.
