I liked Finding the Lost much more than I liked Burning Alive. I obtained a much better sense of the world and the storyline, which is expected. More importantly, I felt a much greater connection to Andra and Paul. I admit a big part of my problem with the first book was the way a death of a character I really fell in love with was handled. But I honestly think it's also due to the fact that the author feels more comfortable with her storyline in this book, and the romance and the overall storyl

Great read! Book 2 in the PNR series of the Sentinel Wars. Logan [a Sanguinar from book 1:] has had a taste of Helen's blood [heroine/book 1:] and uses that to track down our heroine who is [somehow:] related. Our hero, Paul [also introduced in book 1:], finds his fated mate in the middle of a battle with the Synestryn monsters who have kidnapped a child. The child is saved, both from the monsters AND from the trauma of the attack. This gives Andra hope that maybe her sister who was traumatized

Another great installment within this unique world. This time around the story focuses on Paul and Andra. Andra seems to accept things a lot faster than Helen did, but then again it was probably due to what Andra did for a living.
What I really liked about this book was to be able to see more into the community where they all live. We also learned more about others that live there. Torr's story was heartbreaking and I look forward to learning more about him. I also can't wait for Nika's story and ...more

It is very hard for me to rate this series. So far both books are at a level five for me simply because that is as high as I can go. Although I liked Burning Alive slightly better than this book, I couldn't put Finding the Lost down and read the book in one day. Even with the chaos of the holidays under my feet.
