I listened to this book on Audible, read by Neil himself. It was so much fun. I've loved the Norse Myths since I was a kid, and this version is easy to follow, gives you the most popular myths, and is quite humorous. Having it read by the author is the icing on the cake. If you've wanted to brush up on your Norse Myths, or have never sat down to enjoy them, try this version. It's fairly safe as any mythology can be for teens and up. Enjoy!

That was not what I expected. I expected a much larger book that had about 15-20 more stories in it. This was rather disappointing. Maybe there wasn't much source material. Maybe these were the best ones he knew of. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't blown away by it either. It was just a re-writing of famous norse myths. Not exactly original. Not exactly memorable or distinguishable from other books or writings on the topic.
