This was such a good GN, I started it and was sucked back into Fabletown and out of my own world. Now, Mr. Willingham, you know how to do a fairy retelling very well. While I found some parts of this book quite graphic and disturbingly violent, it fits in with the storyline and the series and the grim kind of world of fairy tales, and the situations that the characters find themselves in.

This third collection of the Fables and contains a stand alone Jack story, a stand alone Thumbelina story, as well as a story arc involing Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming, Bluebeard, Bigby, and Snow.
The ending is somewhat opened ending, and I hope there is some examination of the issue in the next story arc. The edition contains Bigby going big, bad wolfish, Goldilocks, and an intersting way for Sleeping Beauty to wake up.
