As a Twilight fan, this book was a fun read and added dimension to the story. However, I had to rate it on the same level I try to rate any book and could not give it more than three stars. I have read some incredible books within a series but given the ones I liked a little less three or four stars because they didn't come up to the other(s) even though they were outstanding. This is a novella and must be rated as such, but it was just a nice little story to me. I wish I had read it online inst

This just might be tied with Breaking Dawy for my favorite Twilight book. It gives you and idea of what it's like to be a vampire and not live with the Cullens. Very Cool!

I loved this book too! It's great that Stephenie has been able to put the stories through the eyes of other characters then Bella. It helps to be able to know how more of the story happens that is not included in the other books or movies. Yet another great book by Stephenie Meyer!!!

I can't keep going. This book is just plain awful. Stephenie, Stephenie, you are so much better than this.
The book feels like a child's story, which is unlike her other stuff (at least to me). I can see myself enjoying this if I were about 11, but I'm not. The language is so trite and hackneyed that I found myself cringing for the entire 60 pages or so I read. Good God.
That said, I'm almost done with The Host, which is very well written and just an excellent novel. Therefore, I know, Stephenie, ...more

Short, Sad, Sweet, and to the point that is my feelings on this book. I must admit I am a twilight fan. I do love the books but they are really long despite the facts they are quick reads. So I really like the fact that this story was short.
The story was able to stand on it own. Although, I knew the ending of this sad little story I was still really sad. And I found myself wishing that Bree would find someway out of the whole mess. Great read even if you not into twilight.

I was really impressed with this story. i never thought i could leave edward and bellas world and climb into another vampire's head so easily, but i was wrong. i found myself turning page after page non stop and falling in love with bree...it's a tragic and truly beautiful story, which i strongly recommend. Congratulations Stephenie, you proved once more that you are an amazing writer.

I thought it was very interesting...to see what went on on the 'other' side...while everything was going on for the Cullens in Eclipse.
