Rough to start but I stayed for the amazing story and I loved it!

Nisha is a bit hard to like at first. The beginning was tough - but I loved how it all started over a mix up of a gym bag - and Sam wearing a new pair of shoes. The story of women finding their voice, their meaning and their power again. I loved Nisha's rage and Sam's passion. I absolutely loved the supporting characters and each girl begins to bring smart, strong, amazing women back into their lives. This is a book about messy liv ...more

I really enjoyed this one! The story wasn鈥檛 something I was sure I鈥檇 like but the characters were enjoyable and the plot was equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. I feel like this could be a great 鈥渕ade for tv鈥� movie.

A chance innocent mix up in bags at the gym changes not only the two women who owned the bags but others that wander into their story. Have you ever put on a pair of shoes or an outfit that made you feel like a different person; stronger, more confident, etc.? That's basically how this starts out and continues to show the changes possible by a simple mix up. I really enjoyed the story and liked the main players although I didn't always like their decisions or actions. ...more
