Fast read
I know a lot of people either love or hate McFaddens books, I do enjoy them and this one was no different. I enjoyed the characters and story line And it definitely didn't take the turn that I thought it would! Would recommend for any fan of the author as well as anyone looking for a good quick thriller to read. ...more

On the one hand, I couldn’t turn the pages of this one quickly enough and even borrowed the audio so I could listen in the car (which I don’t recommend because the male narrator was terrible). On the other hand, this is all plot and no character development with one of the most naive, foolish main characters I’ve ever read. I’ve enjoyed every Freida McFadden book I’ve read. There were a few spots where I felt like this one got bogged down but overall it did not disappoint!
Sydney is the mc and she's looking for Mr. Right. I had a hard time with Sydney as she did some really hard to understand choices. I mean, one date and the guy is a liar from the get go and ends up being a little aggressive. He then becomes a stalker. Instead of getting a restraining order, she just kind of puts up with it. In this day and age, I don't see this happening. That being said, I thought the overall story was interesting and I didn't see the twists at the end.
