This book was a real tear jerker for me. A book about Maddie an asthmatic sister who has to spread her deceased brother鈥檚 ashes in 8 different states with his best friend Domenic, whom she used to be in love with.
I don鈥檛 want to turn this review into therapy session but I have never felt more seen in Maddie鈥檚 processing of grief.
My one wish would be dual pov so we had more perspective on Domenic鈥檚 grief and some of his choices.

Would have been 5 stars but the spicey scenes were just too much for my taste. Personal preference but it seems that authors are doing too much in this area lately.

Ok yes this got better after Maddie stops being rude and mean. Therapy should've happened much much earlier for her. But after the mid-point of the book I was invested and gosh how I love Josh. Honestly would love to read more about Josh's life. ...more
