I was lucky to have come across this book on Ibooks on my Ipad, and boy was I glad that I read it. What an amazing story. It was funny, suspenseful, sad, and erotic. My kind of book and it was FREE!! The characters are very well described and the chemistry between the main characters are incredible. I'm not swept off my feet but overall it was a decent story. I didn't really connect with heroine but enjoyed the book enough to finish it.
I didn't buy all the let work on this thingy and all the insta mating, but we got some good steamy scenes out of it so I'm not complaining...much

The way the author portrayed Elise and the decisions she needed to make for an alliance makes you think if you would have made the same decision, how would it have turned out. The story kept you on the edge with all the clues and suspicions having you become Sherlock Holmes to try and discover who, what, when, where and why everything is happening.

the Mating is a must read book!!! i had fun reading it until i have eyebugs in my eyes.. i can't stop reading!!! i'm so addicted to it!!! i love the way nicky charles wrote the story.. and all the twist and unexpected scenes,,, i love kane and elise.. to me, this is the best book i've read this month!!! great job nicky!!! i've already reading the Keeping now!!! love it so much!!! =)

I got this book off of BARNES AND NOBLE's website cause it was free. I fell in love with the characters and the story almost instantly. Was so excited to find there was a 2nd book (The Keeping) after some searching on the internet. Nicky Charles writes an awesome book and your gonna love it. I would have paid to read this book...but you can't beat free.
