This is the second novel in the Jess Darling series and Megan McCafferty is becoming one of my favorite authors. I really enjoy the biting commentary and her style of writing (except for some of the cliche phrases that happen to also conveniently rhyme, ie "queen of mean" or something to that extent). I couldn't get enough of the Jessica Darling series and reread them all so I would be ready for the new one in the series(out next month - just about a month away). Megan is a great writer, creates characters, and we want to know more about them and fall in love with some of them easily - like Marcus Flutie!

Meg McCafferty's stories are one of the chic-lit exceptions I read. Its funny and light and wittingly written. The book takes me back to HS and makes me feel nostalgic. I would definitely recommend this book and read the next installment of the Jessica Darling series.

I certainly wasn't blown away by this one, but I think it has something to do with reading them out of order. By this time I was pretty over the high school antics and angst.
