This is the second novel in the Jess Darling series and Megan McCafferty is becoming one of my favorite authors. I really enjoy the biting commentary and her style of writing (except for some of the cliche phrases that happen to also conveniently rhyme, ie "queen of mean" or something to that extent). Meg McCafferty's stories are one of the chic-lit exceptions I read. Its funny and light and wittingly written. The book takes me back to HS and makes me feel nostalgic. I would definitely recommend this book and read the next installment of the Jessica Darling series. ...more

I liked this one much better than the first. Jessica does so much growing in this book. She is graduating the same year that I did so maybe that helps me relate to her that much more. I really enjoyed watching her relationships with others grow in this book also.
