First off, this book is very different than the movie. The movie is very "Hollywood"...and the novel is very Jennifer Weiner. Though I liked parts of the book - who wouldn't love mention of all of the shoes - but Maggie is too much. I find it hard to believe that someone could be that self-centered and self-destructive.
