I read this because its on the summer reading list for a student I tutor. I did not like it. At all. I gave it two stars because I did understand what is says about society, and I even appreciated how it highlighted materialism, commercialism, obsession with fun and light-heartedness and the desire to face anything unpleasant. I read this because it was picked as the Toronto Reads Book for 2013. Amazing that this was written in 1953, long before television and videos were so prevalent and that parts of this book ring true today.

An excellent look into the slippery slope of censorship.
