Love, love, love this book!! It good be because I enjoyed it so much 12 years ago, but I think it still holds up. Within this book, my favorite story is Daughter of Darkness. I just hope that L.J. Smith is finally able to publish the last book in the series. I've been waiting soooo long to finally find out what happens. ...more

I really liked this book. I love paranormal romance and definatly reccomend it. My fave story was the second, Ash had me cracking up and i loved how his relationship with Mary-Lynnette changed. Oh, and i really liked Poppy in the first story :}

Secret Vampire:
Poppy is dying from a tumour/ cancer. Her best friend who she is in love with, James who is also her soulmate, tries to find a cure. There is no cure except for one. Turning her into a vampire illegally by breaking Night World rules by telling Poppy about the Night World and falling in love with her. But Poppy's brother thinks that James is hurting Poppy and tries to stop it. Eventually James makes Poppy's brother see Volume One has the 1st threee books from the Night World Series.

Daughters Of Darkness:
Three sisters move into Mary-Lynette's neighbourhood. There is something suspicious about them because Mare saw them burying a body and there was an attack at the same time when they came into town. She discovers that they are vampires on the run from their parents who have strict traditions. The sisters' brother comes into town and tries to get them to go back but the sisters' have made a bond with Mare and her brother in which they are sworn to protect the humans. Jade, one of the sisters, finds her soul mate, Mare's brother and Mare's soul mate becomes Ash. They soon discover that their is something much more evil then the rest of them lurking in the neighbourhood, a werewolf, Mare's friend. She kills them and The brother and sisters' cousin comes and force Ash to leave but he promises Mare that he will return to her someday.

Enchanted:
Thea and Blaise are two witch cousins but call themselves sisters. They have been expelled school after school at this time it's the last straw. They aren't allowed to break any rules but they continue to break them. Thea also meets a human boy Eric. He's her soul mate and she tries to stop Blaise from taking him from her but also trying to stop him loving her so she won't break the Night World rules. In the end it doesn't work ever after she has used a forbidden spell. Thea then realises that Blaise is making something powerful to hurt Eric and tries to summon a spirit to hurt him but ends up summoning an angry spirit that causes chaos. Eric helps her send it back but the other witches find out and punish her. They send back the witch and Thea drinks something to make her forget about the Night World only it has been replaced and the witches don't know so she and Eric head out to search for Circle Daybreak.

Overall I enjoyed this book. It was an interesting read but it didn't have a very gripping storyline. ...more
