Books about global tragedy can really get me thinking about what I would do, and would I be prepared. Makes me want to stock up on batteries.

The premise of this book was intriguing, and really made me think about my own emergency preparedness. Why do I have such a problem with religion in novels?! I think it seems forced and preachy.
Good Christian Fiction. It gave me a glimpse of what it really would be like if all our technology suddenly stopped working, no power, no phones, no cars, etc.
This is a book I would recommend to everyone. May seem cheesy at first, but it really makes you think of the kind of person you are.
