A witch and a witch hunter falling in love is definitely an interesting plot. I enjoyed this book that is obviously inspired by The Scarlet Pimpernel. It is a dual POV, enemies to lovers romance. At times I was irritated with these characters, since the reader knows what's really going on and the hatred they feel for each other is mostly just from misunderstandings. I love the originality of this but the romance was the weak spot for me. I think it would have been so much more interesting if it were a slower burn. Lots of clumsy tropes I could have done without, but then again, it is considered YA.
Definitely enjoyed this more than I thought I would
